Hey Phil, I was foolish enough to join a discussion about dangling links and PR leakage over at Digitalpoint, and even question a conclusion from one of your papers. Any chance you could add your wisdom to the thread and let me know where I'm going wrong? Then maybe I could insult you and call you names like other folks do...

| I had forgotten Thinkblings comments when I invited you to shed some light on things there. Please don't think I was trying to stir things up, I just wanted your opinion. |

That's very kind of you Will. Most people would call it plumpness, but you can call it thick skin if you like
I wanted to add a sig line in that forum but I couldn't find anywhere to add one. There's nothing in the profile about it.
Added
Ah! I just found out that sigs can't be set until 10 or more posts have been made. Stuff that. |

Going back to the original discussion, I've been conducting an experiment on the term Nigritude Ultramarine to see if there is any "scoring boost" given for outgoing links.
I don't have any relevant information yet. Update 1 and Update 2 discuss how things are going so far.
My initial thoughts are that outbound link don't help with SERPs, but I am continuing with the experiment to see if the results match my suspicions. |
